CHRISTMAS TIME IS (NEARLY) HERE AGAIN AT BLAKES RESTAURANT
Blakes Restaurant located within the award winning Hard Days Night Hotel is getting into the festive spirit with its new Christmas Lunch & Dinner menu.
Devised by Executive Head Chef Paul Feery, the special menu is available from December 6 and will offer a choice of either two or three courses, with a wide selection of meat, fish and vegetable dishes suitable for seasonal dinner parties.
Paul said: “We have worked hard to develop dishes that are appropriate during the festive season and this menu offers a great variety, so there really is something for everyone. We have combined both light and filling meals so that diners can enjoy either lunch or dinner with us, whether it is a celebration among work colleagues or just a table for two.”
Guests may choose from a selection of warming starters including Cream of Tomato Soup with Tarragon and Cream Cheese Crouton, Duck Spring Rolls with Warm Plum and Hoi Sin Sauce and Smoked Salmon with Shallots, Herbs and Capers served with Brown Bread and Butter.
Main courses consist of dishes such as Roasted Norfolk Breast of Turkey, Cranberry and Chestnut Stuffing and all the Trimmings, Pan Fried Loin of Cod with Puy Lentils and Tomato Salsa and Vegetarian Moussaka with Halloumi Cheese and Soft Herbs.
Diners can complete their meal with desserts including Steamed Xmas Pudding with Warm Brandy Sauce, Baileys and Banoffee Brulee with Shortbread and White Choc Cheesecake and Cranberries. Additionally coffee and mince pies are also available.
Paul added: “Both the delicious menu and atmosphere of the restaurant will certainly make a memorable experience for all of our diners. We look forward to welcoming our existing and new customers this Christmas time.”
