- Head Pastry Chef
Position Overview
To ensure all menu items are available at all times in adequate quantities, pastry section and equipment clean at all times and employees trained to menu specification.
The successful candidate must have experience in a 4 star (or equivalent) establishment.
Hours are full time (40 hours) and salary is negotiable

Summary
- Ensuring all ALC desserts available in adequate quantities every service
- Ensuring all TDH desserts available in adequate quantities every service
- Ensuring adequate quantities of HOMEMADE bread available every service including flavored bread for the lounge
- Ensuring adequate quantities of AFTERNOON TEA cakes available at all times
- Ensuring FUNCTION desserts ready in adequate time
- Developing skills of department employees to menu specification
- Assisting in development of ALC & TDH menu’s and implementation
- Ensuring pastry section (sinks, fridge, walls, equipment) cleaned every shift (no scoops in flour bins)
- Ensuring pastry fridge (no 1) is cleaned every shift
- Stock rotation (all food in date)
