Just wanted to write to thank the wonderful staff at Hard Day's Night Hotel following another fab trip to Liverpool.
As a Beatles fan I've been coming to Liverpool for 20 years now, for short breaks and of course Beatleweek every few years but this visit was a little bit more special. Not only was it my 40th birthday but it was also my 5 year old twins first visit to this wonderful city and birthplace of the best band ever. And it was our first stay at Hard Day's Night too!
There was never any question about where I would spend my 40th - it had to be Liverpool. But now, having stayed, I also know we couldn't have picked a better hotel. Atmosphere, decor, rooms, food and staff all surpassed my expectations. Not only that but the next generation of Beatles fans were impressed too and left asking only when we would next return. The flowers and champagne when we checked in were also lovely touches.
A lot has changed since my first visit to Liverpool all those years ago, in the days before HDNH, not just the city, but also me with a few less late night and hangovers these days with the sensible parent head on! Life truly is what happens while you're making other plans and I'm thankful that businesses in Liverpool like HDNH are so committed to ensuring the legacy of The Beatles continues to endure and inspire the lives of future generations.
Here's a few wee pics of Jude and Harrison taking it all in. Love the pic of Harrison sitting beneath George Harrison in our HDNH room.!
Thanks again, Donna
I'm sorry for the late reply, we have floating round for a week on tiredness and joy! I can not thank you enough for all the hard work that was put in by you, Rachel, Lesley and Lee.
Every guest complimented the effort of the staff, and absolutely everything went perfectly. I can't believe it's all over!
Kindest Regards, Mr & Mrs. Mathison :-) xx
I never got to see you to tell you goodbye before our departure on Tuesday. I am emailing you to tell you thank you so very much for lining Paul up for our Beatles taxi tour this past Sunday afternoon. That was the third time for me on the tour, and I still find it extremely interesting.
On another note, I must say it is always a great pleasure to stay at the Hard Days Night Hotel. I enjoyed seeing familiar faces such as yours, Kay's, and Jack's. I missed seeing Jade which was a disappointment as she is quite a beautiful lady. Penny was most helpful as well on this trip. Thank you and the staff for making me and my friends feel right at home. Through the years I have spent far too many a night in hotels in and out of the U. S. on business. The Hard Days Night Hotel is by far my favourite hotel in the world. It is always a pleasure to be pampered by your efficient and friendly staff. You and your staff have my utmost gratitude as always. Hoping to be lucky enough to visit again in the next year or so. I am,
Respectfully Yours, J. Scott Spradling
